If you like nice vampire and romance stories the Argeneau books are for you. I have read all of them and this is a good one where we learn much more about the Mother of the characters in the other books, Marguerite Argeneau who starts her job as a private investigator. We learn more about her and her family throughout the book along with a mystery and someone trying to cut off her head! I thought this was a great book and I have enjoyed all of the others in the series as well. They are funny as well and quick to read.
