Skin Trade - Laurell K Hamilton
Anita is back...and I was surprised at how much different this one was from the last several books. It was more like the early stories in the series with lots of police work and Anita trying to be a "good guy". There was no Richard (yay!) and very litte Jean Claude (boo). Wicked and Truth make an appearance near the end of the story. It is fast paced when you realize the 486 pages cover only a couple of days at the most. We do meet more Tigers and another call goes out from the Mother of All Darkness. We learn more about her and her need for Anita. Plus more on Edward and scary scary Olaf!
Overall it was good. I will read again soon to catch some of more it. But if you have not read Anita in a while you will probably enjoy this one. And if you have never read Anita please go back and start at the beginning so that you understand everything.
As always, the end makes me want to read more...It will probably be another year until a new one comes out!
